Protein rich foods are becoming ever more popular with people that are trying to increase their muscle mass. Eating high amounts of protein can aid the growth of muscle if is consumed on a regular basis. This means that people are trying to build their diets around these protein rich foods. In order to understand which foods are high in protein I have displayed below the main food groups that are deemed as protein rich foods, you may be surprised and also pleased to see that these foods are everyday things that you can buy on the high street or at a local market.

Dairy products - Many dairy products are high in protein and are popular with anybody into their protein foods. They are strong source of protein as they have many of the essential amino acids that are bodies need to grow.

Nuts, seeds and pulses - All of these provide huge variety in foods that contain high amounts of protein and can be used at main meal times or to replace snack foods throughout the day.

All of the above food groups are ever so easily incorporated into a healthy diet and if you can manage to do this then you are one step ahead when you are trying to increase that muscle mass. Obviously eating protein rich foods will not add the muscle on it's own, eating these is the easy part of the process. You still need to work out hard but if you are prepared to do this you really will see positive results.
