High Protein Diet Will Drop the Weight

Have you ever wanted to lose a lot of weight fast? One way to do this would be to go on a high protein diet. Without eating any or nearly any carbohydrates, your body must burn fat for fuel. And where does your body get the fat from, the storage of fat around your middle and everywhere else that you have fat deposits on your body.

Now in order for this to work well, so that you can lose up to a pound a day, you cannot stuff yourself on meat. Plus you will want to eat good lean meat. Some animal fat is desired but still must be kept down to a minimum. If you get too many fat calories, the weight will stop coming off.

Some of the best protein choices would be fish and poultry. Red meat should be used very sparingly. Red meat according to some studies has been linked to heart disease. Fish have the most omega 3 fat in it would be a really good choice to eat frequently.

Other good protein choices would be beans and nuts. With beans, you will have to be very careful not to over do them be cause of the carbohydrate count with in them. With nuts such as walnuts, you have to be careful on the amount that you consume because of the calories that they contain. Walnuts, for instance, have 183 calories and 3.8 carbohydrates just for seven whole nuts.

When on a high protein diet, make sure to eat a lot of vegetables that are low in carbohydrates. Drink at least eight 8 once glasses of water a day also. Plus from being very good for you, the vegetables will give you fiber to make sure that your boils to not get plugged up. This is really important if you are consuming a lot of cheese.
